MRSI SERVICES

Adult Day Services

MRSI’s adult day support is offered in small group settings, catering to the distinct interests of participants, encouraging a personal approach, and enabling a focus on learning and using new skills and knowledge. We strive for our individuals to have greater independence, establish and/or maintain community membership, build lasting relationships, increase self-direction and self-advocacy.

Licensed Group Homes

Providing Person Centered support

We own and operate an eight-bed group home in Celina, the Wayne Street Home. This home is an Intermediate Care Facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICF/IID). We manage the Thomas Edison Group Home, also an eight-bed home located in Van Wert. These homes provide 24 hour staffing 7 days a week. We offer individualized training based on the needs and desires of each person in the area including but not limited to daily living skills, academic functions, human sexuality, and life safety skills.

Mental Health Housing

Designated housing agency for the Mercer, Van Wert, and Paulding Counties Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services Board

We currently own and operate three apartment buildings, each with six units. The apartments provide safe and affordable housing for consumers who are receiving mental health services and who need assistance with housing. By placing the apartments in the local communities, we give each individual the opportunity to blend into and be a viable part of the community.

Respite Care Services

Short-term and extended Respite Services

Caregivers need time away from their care giving responsibilities to pursue personal interests, socialize with friends and family, or simply to take a break. Though caregivers often feel guilty leaving their loved one in the care of someone else, it is imperative for both parties to get a break from each other. Caregivers who neglect their own physical and emotional health may be ill equipped to meet the daily challenge of care giving.

Shared Living

Share your home and make a difference

MRSI is looking for kind, committed, and compassionate people in Auglaize, Mercer, Van Wert, and surrounding communities. A Shared Living Provider is someone who opens their home and provides daily support and companionship to an adult with a developmental disability. A Provider is a teacher, mentor and friend, helping the person to live a meaningful life at home and in the community.
